Question about getting out 1 year apartment lease...? - downstairs toilet fans
To make a long story, which has signed a 1-year lease is up this October. We have not even lived here all the time and had so many problems, I can not even count how many. One of the toilets had flooded the room twice. Everything she did was caught under the carpet fans, not the carpet cleaning, or something. The smell was awful. I'm pregnant, so I asked to test for mold for my safety. They refused. This happened about 2 months after we arrived 5 days ago on the same thing is happening. I have the office 4 times per day until maintenance. All I could do was the bathroom on my carpet to see and traffic is also filtered through the ground floor. When he came to fix it, he said, it was not a party to the toilet. Today, when I called the office, I thought it would be supported until Monday. Now I am 7 months pregnant and it is difficult to go to an average big fan blowing under the carpet in the corridor. Me and my roommates have decided to leave next month's rent, $ 1500 is too. So my question isHow can we break the contract without paying? We do not prefer to hire a lawyer until you have tried other ways. Is there any kind of organization to inform? Advice please!
